Medytox to Build BTX Plant in UAE
Highlights: Medytox, a leading producer of BTX (botulinum toxin – commonly known as BOTOX) in Korea, has signed an MOU with Dubai Science Park, a state-owned company in Dubai, to construct a manufacturing plant for finished BTX products. The facility will be capable of producing MT10109L, the world’s first non-animal liquid toxin, developed by Medytox. The company aims to obtain halal certification for the plant and focus on selling its products in the Middle Eastern and European regions.
